We lay out and print the carton and the lidding foil to the label rules of your market, which your importer confirms, and the artwork is yours to approve before print.

Tablets in blisters
The pictures are illustrations of your pack in a blister. What you take from the gallery is the formula and its strength, or you change the doses. The carton and the lidding foil carry your brand, and a sample of the formula is available, so you see the real tablet, capsule or softgel before you order.
Can any tablet, capsule or softgel go into a blister?
Yes. Any tablet, capsule or softgel goes into a blister, and when its size is outside the current tooling, a forming set is made for it, with the terms confirmed in our reply.
A blister run starts from 2,000 cartons (at least 4,000 blisters), on a ready-made formula or your own, with production from 2 weeks. Each carton holds 1 to 4 blisters. The lidding foil is printed for your brand, and the batch number and expiry date go on the carton. The expiry date is printed with the carton or applied as the blisters are packed into it.
The blisters are formed, filled, sealed and cut in one pass on an Uhlmann B 1240, and an IMA IC 150 packs them into the carton. Tooling is in place for oval tablets of 22 × 10, 20 × 9.5 and 16 × 8 mm, round tablets of 13, 12 and 11 mm, and capsules of size 0 long (0EL), 0 and 00. A blister of your own design, or a tablet or capsule of another size, starts from 25,000 cartons or 50,000 blisters, on terms agreed per project. Delayed-release tablets and capsules are made on request.
Softgels are sealed on the same Uhlmann B 1240; send the softgel size with the enquiry, and the forming set for it is confirmed in our reply.
Drink cubes are packed another way: each cube is sealed in a blister of its own.
What the blister changes for the person using the product:
- Doses stay sealed one by one. Each tablet or capsule keeps its own cavity closed until it is pushed out.
- Opening is visible. A cavity that has been pierced cannot be resealed.
- The count shows. The doses left on a card can be counted without opening anything.
- One card can travel. A single card leaves the carton and lies flat in a bag.
How the line runs: blister packing. The two packs compared: blister or bottle.
Which supplement formats and packs can I choose?
Tablets, capsules and softgels go into a blister with a printed carton first; bottles and doy-packs are the second option, effervescent tablets go into tubes, powders into jars or doy-packs, and syrups and oils into bottles.

Which ready-made formulas can I put my brand on?
More than 500 formulas are in production, with new ones added every month, and each of them can be made under your brand. By composition, the range runs across vitamins and minerals, alone and in combination; plant extracts; omega-3 fish oil and other oils in softgels; effervescent vitamin and mineral tablets; collagen; whey and plant proteins; and creatine.
A selection of tablet, capsule and softgel formulas is listed with names and strengths on ready-made formulas. Name the category, the format and the country of sale, and we send a selection of ready-made formulas for that category. From the selection you choose a formula, receive a sample of the existing product and then settle the pack.
When the composition you need is not in the range, it is developed for your brand: see white label supplements and private label supplements. The minimums for standard packs such as bottles are in the section on bottles below.
Who designs the label and the carton?
We lay out and print the label and the carton to the label rules of your market, which your importer confirms, and print the lidding foil with your brand. Artwork you already have can be used instead. Your own packaging can be used on request. Only the artwork version you have approved is printed.
Blister or bottle: which suits my product?
A blister with a printed carton is the main pack here, from 2,000 cartons and with production from 2 weeks. The format narrows the packs open to a formula, and the pack then sets the minimum, the production time and the risk. Each choice costs time, quantity and risk rather than money:
In a blister with a printed carton
- Time: production from 2 weeks.
- Quantity: from 2,000 cartons and at least 4,000 blisters, on a ready-made formula or your own.
- Your product: the size of your tablet, capsule or softgel; a size outside the current tooling gets a forming set made for it, and a blister of your own design starts from 25,000 cartons or 50,000 blisters.
In a blister, the dose also shapes the card: a larger tablet or capsule needs a larger cavity, so fewer of them fit on one card.
In a bottle or another standard pack, as the second option
- Time: production from 2 weeks on a ready-made formula, from 4 weeks on a formula of your own; effervescent tablets and sachets from 4 weeks either way.
- Quantity: a ready-made formula from 100 units in stock packaging; a formula of your own from 500 bottles. Powders, sachets, sports nutrition, syrups and oils are counted in kilograms or litres: see minimum order quantity.
- Risk: after the first opening, every dose still inside shares one open container.
What sizes do bottles, tubes and powder packs come in?
Each pack has its fill sizes in place:
- Bottles hold 30, 60, 90 or 120 tablets, capsules or softgels. Tablets can also go into glass bottles.
- Tubes for effervescent tablets hold 20 tablets of 4 g, made on a sorbitol base.
- Powders and sports nutrition come in 450, 900 or 1,800 g at a 30 g serving, in a jar or a doy-pack. Sachets are filled separately; ask for the sizes with your enquiry.
- Doy-packs, stand-up zip-lock pouches, take tablets, capsules and softgels as well as powders.
- Syrups and oils go into bottles; ask for the sizes with your enquiry.
Questions about examples and blisters
Can a ready-made formula go into a blister?

A blister run starts from 2,000 cartons (at least 4,000 blisters), with production from 2 weeks. For softgels, send the softgel size with the enquiry.
Can any tablet, capsule or softgel go into a blister?
Yes. Any tablet, capsule or softgel goes into a blister, and if its size is outside the current tooling, a forming set is made for it. The terms for the set are confirmed in our reply to your enquiry.
Are the products in the gallery real?
The gallery shows example formulas that HYPERPHARM produces. The pictures are illustrations of your pack in a blister with a carton that reads YOUR BRAND, and a sample of the formula is available, so you see the real product before you order.
Can I see a pack with my own brand?
Yes. The carton, the lidding foil and the label are laid out with your artwork, and you approve the version that goes to print. A sample of the formula shows you the tablet, capsule or softgel itself before you order.
Can I see the full list of ready-made formulas?
A selection with names and strengths is on ready-made formulas. Name the category, the format and the country of sale, and we send a selection of ready-made formulas for that category.
What is the minimum order for a supplement in a blister?
A blister run starts from 2,000 cartons (at least 4,000 blisters), with production from 2 weeks. A blister of your own design, or a tablet or capsule of another size, starts from 25,000 cartons or 50,000 blisters, on terms agreed per project.
What is the minimum order for a ready-made formula in a bottle?
In stock packaging a ready-made formula starts from 100 units, with production from 2 weeks; a formula of your own starts from 500 bottles, with production from 4 weeks. Powders, sachets, sports nutrition, syrups and oils are counted in kilograms or litres: see minimum order quantity.
How many tablets or capsules go into a bottle?
Bottles are filled with 30, 60, 90 or 120 tablets, capsules or softgels.

Can I use my own packaging or artwork?
Yes, on request. Otherwise we lay out and print the label and the carton to the label rules of your market, which your importer confirms, and print the lidding foil with your brand. Only the artwork version you have approved is printed.
What comes with each batch?
A Certificate of Analysis and a specification. The standard shelf life is 24 months, and on a blister product the expiry date is on the carton. Production is ISO 22000, GMP and HACCP certified and registered with the US FDA as a food facility; copies of the certificates with their numbers are sent to clients on request.
