What does a distributor or importer get from you?
A supplement in your brand, made, packed and documented at one plant, so that your own work is the registration, the sale and the shelf. The manufacturing group behind HYPERPHARM exports to 42 countries, and the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Lebanon are among its main markets; these are the group's figures, not those of HYPERPHARM OÜ, the company registered in 2019 that owns this site. The group already supplies many clients in Africa; we do not list their countries.
- Your brand on a product. White label puts your brand on a formula already in production, and private label on a formula developed for you. The plant has more than 500 formulas in production.
- A blister with a printed carton. Tablets, capsules and softgels are sealed one dose to a cavity, and the carton is printed for your brand. See blister packing.
- Other formats. Effervescent tablets, powders, sachets, syrups, oils, sports nutrition, drink cubes and bottles are made as well; the blister is the main format of this site, not the only one.
Nothing on this page describes territories, distribution terms or prices. Tell us in your enquiry how you sell, and we answer from there.
Who registers the product: the brand owner or the importer?
The brand owner, your importer or a local applicant, depending on the country, and never us. We make the product and supply the documents a file draws on; the authority of the country of sale decides whether the product may be sold, and we neither promise an approval nor file on your behalf.
- Saudi Arabia. The file is submitted on the Saudi side, for example by your importer; your importer confirms.
- The United Arab Emirates. On the Emirates Drug Establishment (EDE) route for general sale, a licensed medical warehouse in the UAE files; on a food route, your importer confirms who files.
- Ghana. The Food and Drugs Authority names the product owner or a licence holder as the applicant.
- Nigeria. NAFDAC lists a Nigerian company's registration among the documents.
If the brand is yours and a separate importer sells it, settle between the two of you who applies and who holds the registration before you ask for a quote. Requirements by country are on Africa and the Middle East.
Which documents come with each batch, and which on request?
A Certificate of Analysis and the product specification come with every batch, and copies of the plant's certificates come on request, with their numbers; quality and batch documents explains what each one shows. The certificates are ISO 22000, GMP and HACCP, with GMP for food supplements, and their scope names tablets, capsules and powders. The plant's GMP is not pharmaceutical GMP; where an importer's file asks for pharmaceutical GMP, your importer confirms with the authority what it will accept, ideally before you order.
A certificate of free sale is issued in the country of manufacture (for the CPP, Egypt's text also allows a reference country; your importer confirms which applies), not by the manufacturer and not by your importer. In the texts we read, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt, Nigeria and Ethiopia ask for one. A halal certificate is arranged for the specific product, not for the plant as a whole. The full list is on export documents.
Do you legalise documents for my country?
Where the country of sale asks for documents to be legalised, legalisation is arranged as well. Whether it asks, and by which route, differs by country.
An apostille takes the place of legalisation only where both the issuing country and the country of sale are parties to the Apostille Convention. According to the Hague Conference table of 30 June 2026, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Morocco, Tunisia, Senegal, South Africa and Algeria are parties. The UAE, Lebanon, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan, Egypt, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania and Ethiopia are not, so their documents follow the route the country sets; your importer confirms it. Objections are recorded against the accessions of Morocco, Tunisia, Senegal and Algeria, so even there your importer confirms. See export documents.
Whose label rules apply, and who confirms them?
The rules of the country of sale apply, and your importer confirms them before the carton is printed. The plant lays out and prints the carton to those rules; you approve the artwork version that is printed, and nothing is printed before.
The rules differ. Under its food labelling rules, Saudi Arabia asks for Arabic, with any other language alongside it and identical in content. Egypt's drug authority asks for Arabic and English on the outer and the inner pack for the products it registers. A carton built for one country may not suit another, so a distributor selling one product in several countries should expect a set of artwork per language and per market. Artwork you already hold can be used instead of ours. For Arabic and French cartons, see Arabic and French packaging.
The expiry date goes on the carton, printed with it or applied as the blisters are cartoned, and it is never a sticker. The food rules of Saudi Arabia and the UAE, as summarised by the US Department of Agriculture, ask for dates on the original label or primary packaging; your importer confirms that a date on the carton meets this rule.
Can I start with a ready-made formula and move to my own later?
Yes. Both routes run under your brand, and you can start on the first and add the second when the first has shown what sells.
A ready-made formula. You receive a sample of the existing product, approve it and the artwork, and the plant produces it under your brand, with no development stage in front. The cost to you is a product that is not reserved for one client: another brand may sell the same composition, so your carton, your lidding foil and your service set you apart.
A formula of your own. The plant develops your composition into a sample, you approve the sample and the artwork, and production follows. This is private label, a formula developed for your brand, which we do not describe as exclusive. The order runs through the same steps and the same batch documents; what changes is the stage before production and the figures on the minimum order and lead time pages.
A blister is available on either route for tablets, capsules and softgels, as long as the tablet or capsule fits the tooling in place; a blister of your own design or another size is a separate project with its own terms. Delayed-release tablets and capsules are made on request.
What are the minimum order and the production time?
They are on minimum order quantity and lead times, by route and format; shipping comes on top.
Which delivery terms do you ship under: EXW, FCA or DAP?
EXW is the default, with FCA or DAP on request, worldwide. Under the Incoterms 2020 rules, EXW leaves export clearance to you, while under FCA and DAP the seller clears the goods for export; import clearance and duties stay with you under all three. Payment terms are not set out on this site; raise them in your enquiry.
What your choice decides
Each line shows what a choice costs you in time, quantity or risk, not in money.
| Your choice | What changes | What it costs you |
|---|---|---|
| Start on a ready-made formula, or a formula of your own | Ready-made: no development stage. Own: a sample is developed and approved first | Risk: a ready-made formula is not reserved for you. Time: a development stage before the first batch of your own |
| Sell one product in several countries | Label language and mandatory text differ by country | Time: artwork for each language set, approved by you before print. Risk: a carton built for one country may not meet another's rules |
| A market whose file asks for pharmaceutical GMP or a certificate of free sale | The plant's GMP is for food supplements; the certificate comes from the country of manufacture, then an embassy where the market asks (your importer confirms) | Risk: the authority may not accept the GMP. Time: the certificate and any embassy step come before your importer can file |
Questions distributors and importers ask
Do you register supplements in my country?
No. Registration, where a country asks for it, is filed by the brand owner, your importer or a local applicant. We supply the documents the file draws on and the printed carton.
Who registers the product, the brand owner or the importer?
It depends on the country. In Saudi Arabia the file is submitted on the Saudi side, for example by your importer; on the UAE's EDE route a licensed medical warehouse files; in Ghana the product owner or a licence holder applies. Settle it with your importer before you order.
What are the minimum order and the lead time for a distributor?
They are on minimum order quantity and lead times, by route and format. Production time excludes shipping.
Will another brand sell the same ready-made formula?
It can. A ready-made formula is not reserved for one client, so the composition alone will not set your product apart. A formula developed for your brand is the other route.
Do you already supply clients in Africa and the Middle East?
The manufacturing group behind HYPERPHARM already supplies many clients in Africa, and the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Lebanon are among its main markets. We do not list client countries. The group exports to 42 countries.
Can I see a sample or visit the plant before I order?
Yes to both. A sample of the existing product is sent before you order, and a plant visit can be agreed. Mention either in your enquiry; we reply within 24 hours, Monday to Friday.
