Which iron formulas are in production?

Four are listed here: two tablets and two capsules. They are a selection from the ready-made products list of the manufacturing group, shown with their names and strengths as they stand there. Iron lines whose form is liquid or not stated are left out; liquid forms are on liquid supplements.

Iron bisglycinate or ferrous fumarate: what changes in size and label?

The form changes the specification, and with it the finished tablet or capsule. Iron bisglycinate appears in one tablet and one capsule on the list, ferrous fumarate in one tablet, and citrate in one capsule. The name of each formula gives the iron amount and the form it comes from.

  • Amount and form read together. "Iron 25mg (from Citrate)" and "Iron 20mg (source Bisglycinate)" give the iron amount first and the source in brackets. Ask for the full composition if your label needs the weight of the compound as well.
  • Why it matters for the blister. Two of the formulas carry more than iron: the bisglycinate tablet adds zinc, copper, vitamins B12 and B6 and folic acid. The tablet or capsule is cut to what the whole formula makes, and the sample shows that size against the blister tooling in place.
  • Why it matters for the label. Every ingredient in the formula is part of the composition your artwork has to state, in the way your market requires. Your importer confirms the rules of the country of sale, and the carton is built to them.

Tablet or capsule: which suits an iron blister?

Size comes first. Blister tooling is cut to the finished tablet or capsule, so what matters is the size the formula finally has.

  • Tablets: six sizes are tooled, oval 22 × 10, 20 × 9.5 and 16 × 8 mm, round 13, 12 and 11 mm.
  • Capsules: sizes 0 long (0EL), 0 and 00.
  • Anything else: a tablet or capsule outside these sizes, or a blister of your own design, starts from 25,000 cartons or 50,000 blisters, with terms agreed per project.

Two iron formulas are two blisters; they may share a carton of 1 to 4 blisters, because one blister holds one kind of tablet or capsule. Delayed-release tablets and capsules are available on request, described as a property of the form. Further reading by form: tablets in blisters and capsules in blisters.

What does the destination market decide?

Label wording, accompanying documents and any registration are decided by the country of sale. Your importer confirms its rules, and the carton is built to them. The product's registration there is the brand owner's step.

Behind the plant stands a group with more than 25 years of production, 70+ specialists and exports to 42 countries. These are group figures and do not describe HYPERPHARM OÜ, which was registered in 2019. The UAE, Saudi Arabia and Lebanon are its main markets, and many clients in Africa are already supplied. Regional pages: Middle East and Africa.

Hot and humid destinations and the language of the pack have pages of their own: blister packaging for hot and humid climates and Arabic and French packaging. Halal certification is arranged for the specific product rather than for the plant as a whole.

What documents come with each batch?

Alongside every batch you receive a Certificate of Analysis and a specification. Shelf life is 24 months as standard. Batch number and expiry date are printed on the carton, either with it or as the blisters go into the carton.

The site holds ISO 22000, GMP and HACCP certification from BM Certification and is FDA registered; the GMP is the food supplements guide, not pharmaceutical GMP. Clients get copies of the certificates, with their numbers, on request. A prohibited-substance test can be done by an accredited third-party laboratory on request, reported in your brand's name. How do I ask for a sample and the full composition?

Begin with an enquiry naming your shortlisted formulas; we reply within 24 hours, Monday to Friday. Seven steps follow:

  1. Enquiry: the form you want, ready-made or own formula, the quantity, the country of sale.
  2. Sample: a sample of the existing product (ready-made) or sample development (own formula).
  3. Approval: sample first; label and carton artwork follow, and you approve both before print.
  4. Production: 2 weeks or more for ready-made in stock packaging, 4 weeks or more for your own; 6 to 10 weeks if the order is a blister run.
  5. Blister and carton: tablets and capsules are sealed on the Uhlmann B 1240; the IMA IC 150 cartons them.
  6. Documents: Certificate of Analysis and specification, one set per batch.
  7. Delivery: EXW by default; FCA or DAP if you ask.

We publish no prices; a quote is made per enquiry.

What does your product decide?

With iron, the ingredient list and the finished size decide more of the blister than the brief does. What each case changes, and what it costs you in run size, time or risk:

Questions buyers ask about private label iron

Can I put an iron formula into a blister under my own brand?

Yes. Listed tablets and capsules are sealed in blisters with lidding foil printed for your brand, and the blisters go into a printed carton, 1 to 4 to a carton. Whether a formula fits the tooling in place depends on its finished size.

What is the minimum order for iron in blisters?

A run starts from 2,000 cartons printed for your brand, and no fewer than 4,000 blisters, on a ready-made formula or your own. Minimums for bottles and other formats are on minimum order quantity.

How long does production take?

Production for a blister run is 6 to 10 weeks, and shipping comes after. In stock packaging the same formula is produced from 2 weeks (ready-made) or from 4 weeks (your own). Details: lead times.

Can I order white label iron in bottles with a low minimum?

Yes. Stock packaging such as bottles takes a ready-made formula from 100 units and your own formula from 500 bottles per product. The blister is ordered separately, with its own minimum.

Which iron forms do you use?

The listed formulas name ferrous bisglycinate, ferrous fumarate and citrate. For another iron form, ask with your enquiry and we say in our reply how it is treated.

Is iron available with other vitamins and minerals?

Yes. Two of the listed tablets combine iron with further vitamins and minerals, named in the formula. The full composition, sent on request, gives each amount.

Can I change the strength or the form of iron?

Say what you would like changed. In our reply we tell you whether the change makes it a ready-made formula or one of your own; in bottles, your own starts from 500 bottles per product and a ready-made formula from 100 units.

What documents come with a batch?

A Certificate of Analysis and a specification accompany every batch. On request we send copies of the site certificates, with numbers: ISO 22000, GMP and HACCP certified, and FDA registered.

Can the carton be in Arabic or French?

Yes. Either the plant designs the label and carton, or it prints your artwork; in both cases to the rules of the country of sale, which your importer confirms. Details are on Arabic and French packaging.

Can I get a sample before I order?

Yes. For a ready-made formula the sample is the existing product, and it shows how large the tablet or capsule really is and whether the blister tooling in place takes it.
