Which vitamin C 1000 mg tablets are in production?

HYPERPHARM is a private label vitamin C manufacturer with four formulas led by vitamin C: two 1,000 mg tablets, a 500 mg tablet and a 400 mg liposomal capsule. They are a selection from more than 500 formulas in production, taken from the ready-made products list of the manufacturing group. The names and strengths are given as they stand there; the full composition of any formula is sent on request.

Tablet or capsule: which goes into a blister?

Both go into blisters; the question is which size fits the tooling. Tooling is in place for six tablet sizes and three capsule sizes.

  • Tablets: oval 22 × 10, 20 × 9.5 or 16 × 8 mm; round 13, 12 or 11 mm.
  • Hard capsules: size 0 long (0EL), size 0 or size 00.

Six of the seven formulas above are tablets, so the size of the finished tablet is the first thing to settle. The strength is in the name; the size is shown by the sample, and with it whether the tooling in place takes the tablet. A tablet outside the sizes with tooling, or a blister of your own design, starts from 25,000 cartons or 50,000 blisters, on terms agreed per project. Delayed-release tablets and capsules are available on request, described as a property of the form. Details by form: tablets in blisters and capsules in blisters.

How is the dose stated on the label?

Vitamin C is stated by weight, and the list uses milligrams: 1,000 mg, 500 mg, 400 mg, 80 mg and 90 mg. No unit conversion is involved, as there is for vitamin D in IU. The other ingredients are named in their own units, such as micrograms for selenium and vitamin A, and 1 mg is 1,000 µg.

What your carton shows is set at the artwork step: the amount per tablet or capsule, the number of units a day and the amount per day are printed figures, and they are checked against the composition you approve.

What does the destination market decide?

The country of sale sets the strength you may offer, how it is worded and in which language. This page does not list country limits; they belong to the authority there, and your importer confirms them before the artwork is approved.

Label and carton are built at the plant to whatever your importer confirms, or printed from artwork you supply. Gulf buyers can read the Middle East and buyers in Africa Africa; the group already supplies many clients in Africa. The product's registration in the country of sale stays with the brand owner.

Can the carton be printed in Arabic or French?

Yes. The carton and the label follow the language and the rules of the country of sale. A separate leaflet in Arabic or French is not promised here; the steps are described in Arabic and French packaging.

Where the product is headed for a hot and humid market, the blister seals each dose in its own cavity and shows if it has been opened; nothing more is claimed on this page. Questions to ask about the film and the foil are on blister packaging for hot and humid climates.

Can I change the strength or the formula?

Yes, but the terms may change. Tell us the strength or the added ingredient you want, and we say in our reply whether it is treated as a ready-made formula or as one of your own. A sample of your own formula is developed before production.

For a blister run, the minimum is the same on a ready-made formula and on your own: from 2,000 cartons, at least 4,000 blisters, production in 6 to 10 weeks. In stock packaging such as bottles, a ready-made formula starts from 100 units and your own from 500 bottles per product.

What documents come with each batch?

Every batch comes with a Certificate of Analysis and a specification. Standard shelf life is 24 months. Batch number and expiry date are put on the carton, either at carton printing or when the blisters are cartoned.

BM Certification certifies the plant to ISO 22000, GMP and HACCP; it is also FDA registered. The GMP is the food supplement one, not pharmaceutical. Copies of the certificates, with their numbers, are available to clients on request, and quality and batch documents has more. Halal certification is arranged for the specific product rather than for the plant as a whole.

How do I order a sample and the full composition?

Start with an enquiry that lists the formulas you have shortlisted. A reply comes within 24 hours, Monday to Friday, and the order then follows seven steps:

  1. Enquiry: the format, whether the formula is ready-made or yours, the quantity and the market.
  2. Sample: for a ready-made formula, a sample of the existing product; for your own formula, sample development.
  3. Approval: you approve the sample, and then the label and carton artwork before anything is printed.
  4. Production: a ready-made formula in stock packaging from 2 weeks, your own from 4 weeks; a blister run takes 6 to 10 weeks.
  5. Blister and carton: tablets and capsules are sealed on an Uhlmann B 1240 and cartoned on an IMA IC 150.
  6. Documents: each batch has a Certificate of Analysis and a specification.
  7. Delivery: EXW unless you ask for FCA or DAP.

Prices are not published on the site; every enquiry is quoted separately. Shipping time is added to production time.

What does your product decide?

For vitamin C the tablet size and the extra ingredients settle more of the project than the brief does. What each case changes, and what it costs you in run size, time or risk:

Questions buyers ask about private label vitamin C

Do you make private label vitamin C in blisters?

Yes. Tablets and capsules are sealed in blisters under lidding foil printed for your brand and packed in a printed carton, 1 to 4 blisters to a carton. The size of the tablet or capsule decides whether it fits the tooling in place.

What is the minimum order for a blister?

A blister order starts at 2,000 cartons printed for your brand and at least 4,000 blisters; the formula can be ready-made or your own. Minimums for other packaging are on minimum order quantity.

How long does production take?

Production of a blister run takes 6 to 10 weeks. Outside the blister, a ready-made formula in stock packaging is made from 2 weeks and your own formula from 4 weeks. Transport is added on top; lead times has the detail.

Which vitamin C strengths are listed?

Tablets of 1,000 mg and 500 mg with citrus bioflavonoids and rose hips powder, a 1,000 mg tablet with bioflavonoids, and a liposomal capsule of 400 mg. Three more formulas carry vitamin C among other ingredients. The tables above give each name as listed.

Can a 1,000 mg tablet go into a blister?

It depends on the size of the finished tablet. Tooling is in place for six tablet sizes, and the sample shows the real size and whether the tooling in place takes it.

Can I order the same formula in bottles instead?

Yes. Bottles are ordered in stock packaging: a ready-made formula from 100 units, your own formula from 500 bottles per product. The blister is a separate order with its own minimum.

Which dose can I sell in my country?

The authority of the country of sale decides, and your importer confirms it. No country limits are given on this page. The carton is built to the rules that your importer passes on.

Can the carton be in Arabic or French?

Yes, the carton and the label are built to the language and rules of the country of sale. A separate leaflet in those languages is not promised here. See Arabic and French packaging.

What documents come with a batch?

Every batch has a Certificate of Analysis and a specification. Clients can ask for copies of the site certificates (ISO 22000, GMP and HACCP certified; FDA registered), which are sent with their numbers.

Can I get a sample before I order?

Yes. A ready-made formula comes as a sample of the existing product, and it shows the real size of the tablet or capsule, so you can see whether the blister tooling in place takes it.
