Supplement knowledge hub: blister packing, your own brand and export to the Gulf and Africa

This hub sorts every HYPERPHARM guide by the question a buyer asks before ordering food supplements made in the EU. It is written for brand owners, importers and distributors in Europe, the Gulf, the Levant and Africa. Six sections run from the blister itself to your own brand, export rules, markets, costs and formats, and each one names the page to read first.

What does blister packing involve for a supplement?

A blister seals each tablet, capsule or softgel in its own cavity under lidding foil printed for your brand, and goes into a printed carton holding 1 to 4 blisters. For tablets and capsules, a run starts from 2,000 cartons, at least 4,000 blisters, produced in 6 to 10 weeks.

Start here: Blister packing, the whole blister service on one page: what is sealed, the run size, the foil and the carton.

How do I start my own supplement brand?

Choose a route. White label puts your brand on a formula already in production; private label makes a formula developed for your brand, with the rights to it set in the contract. In stock packaging, a ready-made formula starts from 100 units and your own formula from 500 bottles.

Which documents and rules apply when I export to my country?

Every batch ships with a Certificate of Analysis and specification, and we arrange the Certificate of Free Sale, the Certificate of Manufacture, the apostille and consular legalisation. Registration in the country of sale is filed by your importer or a local applicant, with our documents.

Questions about using the knowledge hub

Where should I start if I have never ordered an own-brand supplement?

With contract manufacturing, which walks through a HYPERPHARM order from enquiry to sealed blister. Then choose white label, your brand on a ready-made formula, or private label, a formula developed for your brand. Both routes can end in a blister with a printed carton.

Where are HYPERPHARM's minimum orders and production times?

Minimum order quantity gives the minimum for every format, from blister cartons to kilograms and litres. Lead times gives production time by route and format. Transport and registration in your market come on top.

Which page explains registration in my country?

Export documents first, then the page for your region in the markets section above. Your importer or a local applicant files the registration, and HYPERPHARM supplies the batch documents and export certificates it draws on.

Can the carton be printed in Arabic or French?

Yes. HYPERPHARM lays out and prints the carton to the label rules of your market, which your importer confirms. Arabic and French packaging sets out the language rules by country; the blister artwork guide shows what goes on foil and carton.

How do I judge a blister for a hot, humid market?

Read blisters for hot, humid markets for what sets the moisture barrier, then climatic zones by country for the WHO conditions in your country. Your importer confirms which conditions the regulator applies.
