Which adult daily multivitamin and mineral formulas are in production?

HYPERPHARM is a private label multivitamin manufacturer with two adult multivitamin and mineral tablets on the list. They are a selection from more than 500 formulas in production, taken from the ready-made products list of the manufacturing group. The names and strengths are given as they stand there. Where a name gives only a count or says "vitamins and minerals", the full composition is sent on request, because the list does not spell it out.

Which men's and women's multivitamin complexes are in production?

Four complexes are named for their audience on the list, two for men and two for women, each a tablet. The names carry a count of active components; the composition of each is sent on request.

Which B vitamin, iron and mineral combinations are in production?

Ten further formulas combine vitamins with each other or with minerals.

Tablet, capsule or softgel: which goes into a blister?

Tablets lead this product, so the size of the finished tablet is the question to settle first. Tooling is in place for six tablet sizes and three capsule sizes, and softgels are sealed on the same Uhlmann B 1240 as tablets and hard capsules.

• Tablets: oval 22 × 10, 20 × 9.5 and 16 × 8 mm; round 13, 12 and 11 mm.
• Hard capsules: size 0 long (0EL), size 0 and size 00.
• Softgels: sealed on the same machine, but the tooling list names no softgel sizes, so send the size with the enquiry.

A complex of two dozen ingredients is a full tablet, and the sample shows the real size of the tablet and with it whether the tooling in place takes it. A tablet outside the sizes with tooling, or a blister of your own design, starts from 25,000 cartons or 50,000 blisters, on terms agreed per project. How is the dose stated on the label?

Each ingredient is printed in its own unit, as the list gives it: milligrams, micrograms (mcg or μg) and, for some vitamins, IU. Between milligrams and micrograms the conversion is plain arithmetic: 1 mg is 1,000 µg. For vitamin D the same holds for IU: 1 µg equals 40 IU, so the 400 IU in the K1, K2 and D3 tablet is 10 µg.

For vitamins A and E we convert nothing here. Where the list states two units for one ingredient, as for vitamin A in the softgel (150 μg and 500 IU), both are printed as the list gives them. Which units your carton shows, and how the amounts per tablet, tablets a day and amount per day are laid out, is set at the artwork step, to the rules of the country of sale, and checked against the composition you approve.

What does the destination market decide?

The market decides the amounts you may sell, the units on the label, the wording and the language. This page states no country limits. Those rules sit with the authority of the country of sale, and your importer confirms them before the artwork is approved.

Can the carton be printed in Arabic or French?

Yes. The carton and the label are laid out and printed for the language and the rules of the country of sale. A multivitamin carton carries a long ingredient list, so the space on the carton is worth settling early. A separate leaflet in Arabic or French is not something this page promises. Can I start with a low minimum, or build my own multivitamin?

Yes to both, with different minimums. For white label multivitamins with a low minimum, a ready-made formula in stock packaging such as bottles starts from 100 units, with production from 2 weeks. Your own composition starts from 500 bottles per product, with production from 4 weeks, and a sample of it is developed before production.

A blister run is a separate order: from 2,000 cartons, at least 4,000 blisters, production in 6 to 10 weeks, on a ready-made formula or on your own; for a softgel we confirm in our reply how this applies to your size. What documents come with each batch?

A Certificate of Analysis and a specification come with every batch. The standard shelf life is 24 months; the batch number and the expiry date go on the carton, printed with it or applied as the blisters are cartoned.

The plant is ISO 22000, GMP and HACCP certified by BM Certification, and FDA registered. The GMP is for food supplements. How do I order a sample and the full composition?

1. Enquiry: format, ready-made formula or your own, quantity, market.
2. Sample: a sample of the existing product for a ready-made formula; sample development for your own.
3. Approval: the sample, then the label and carton artwork, approved by you before print.
4. Production: from 2 weeks for a ready-made formula in stock packaging and from 4 weeks for your own; 6 to 10 weeks for a blister run (for a softgel we confirm this in our reply).
5. Blister and carton: tablets, capsules and softgels sealed on an Uhlmann B 1240, cartoned on an IMA IC 150.
6. Documents: Certificate of Analysis and specification with each batch.
7. Delivery: EXW by default, FCA or DAP on request.
