Can psyllium go into capsules and blisters?
Yes: capsules with psyllium are sealed in blisters on the Uhlmann B 1240, each in its own cavity, and the capsule example below carries psyllium husk powder at 300 mg per 2 capsules. Tooling is in place for capsules of size 0 long, 0 and 00; hard capsules are gelatine or vegan HPMC.
A capsule of another strength is a formula of your own: name the strength in the enquiry, and our reply confirms it. A capsule outside the sizes in place goes into a blister as well: a forming set is made for it, and its time and price are confirmed in our reply. Which psyllium products can I put under my own brand?
Three example formulas are listed: one capsule and two powders. Your brand takes a formula as listed, or the doses are changed to your specification. Amounts are those printed per portion, serving or capsule; the full composition is sent on request. A plain husk powder is the simplest start, and a blend of your own is a formula of your own.

Which blister film suits a psyllium capsule?
PVC, PVC/PVDC and cold-formed aluminium (alu-alu) are offered, and the film is confirmed in our reply once we have the formula and the capsule. Plant powders take up moisture, so the film barrier matters: PVC/PVDC adds barrier to PVC, and alu-alu is the highest-barrier class of the three.
The cavity can be up to 24 mm deep in PVC and up to 10 mm in aluminium, so film and cavity are chosen together. Your own capsule sealed in the film is the check that matters; figures and sources are on blister films.
What is the minimum order for a psyllium capsule in a blister, and how long does it take?

What is the minimum order for private label psyllium husk powder?
Powder starts from 300 kg, counted by weight, with production from 4 weeks. The same 300 kg covers sachets, jars and doy-packs, so the pack is your choice and the minimum stays put.
The pack count follows from the weight. At a 5 g portion, 300 kg is 60,000 portions before filling losses; at 10 g it is 30,000. A jar or doy-pack of 450, 900 or 1,800 g holds 90, 180 or 360 portions of 5 g. Send your powder and portion, and our reply gives the count.
Sachet, jar or doy-pack: which pack suits psyllium husk?
A sachet closes each portion on its own, while a jar or doy-pack holds a scoop-by-scoop supply; both are printed for your brand and both start from 300 kg. What the choice changes on your side:
- Sachet. Each portion is a sachet, so your weight becomes a number of sachets set by your portion.
- Jar or doy-pack. Fill weights of 450, 900 or 1,800 g, and the label states the portion.
- Artwork. It is laid out for the pack you choose, to your market's label rules, and you approve it before print.

How do I show the psyllium amount on the label?
Print psyllium in milligrams or grams per portion, as the formulas above are printed. Psyllium has no percentage of a nutrient reference value: the NRV list in Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011, Annex XIII, Part A covers vitamins and minerals, so only vitamin C or B3 in a blend carries a %NRV. In the capsule example, B3 is 20 mg against a reference of 16 mg (125%) and vitamin C is 40 mg against 80 mg (50%).
The portion on the carton is the one you recommend, so the same powder shows a different figure on a 5 g label than on a 10 g one. If your market asks for a husk grade or a purity figure, name it in the enquiry; our reply confirms the specification that goes with the batch.
Is psyllium sold as a supplement in every market?
The authority of the country of sale sets the status of a husk product, and in some markets a product with psyllium can fall under medicine rules depending on how it is presented. Can the pack be in Arabic or French, and the batch halal?
Yes to both. Sachet, label and carton are printed in the language of the country of sale, to its rules, and a printed leaflet goes into the carton. Steps: Arabic and French packaging.
Halal certification is arranged per batch of your product when the market asks: a certification company visits and issues the certificate, or an auditor is present while the batch is made. Raise it with the enquiry so the route is agreed before the run. More on halal supplements.
What documents and sample come with a psyllium order?
Each batch ships with a Certificate of Analysis and a specification, with a standard shelf life of 24 months. Clients receive copies of the site certificates (ISO 22000, GMP and HACCP; FDA registered) with their numbers on request, and Certificate of Free Sale, Certificate of Manufacture, apostille and consular legalisation are arranged where a market asks.
