Can probiotic capsules go into blister packs?
Yes: hard capsules and softgels both run on the same blister machine, the Uhlmann B 1240, and each one sits sealed in its own cavity. Tooling is in place for capsules of size 0 long, 0 and 00 and for six tablet sizes. Hard capsules are gelatine or vegan HPMC, and acid-resistant capsules are made for probiotics on request, described as a property of the capsule. The 18-entry example is a vegan capsule and the six-culture example a gelatine softgel.
A capsule or softgel outside those sizes goes into a blister too: a forming set is made for it, and its time and price are confirmed in our reply. A run on a size or a blister design of your own starts from 25,000 cartons or 50,000 blisters. One blister holds one kind of capsule, so two products share a carton as two blisters. Which blister film suits probiotic capsules?
PVC, PVC/PVDC and cold-formed aluminium (alu-alu) are offered, and the film is confirmed in our reply once we have the formula and the capsule. Formulas with live cultures are usually checked against moisture first, and the three films differ in barrier: PVC/PVDC adds barrier to PVC, and alu-alu is the highest-barrier class of the three.
Depth differs too: the cavity can be up to 24 mm in PVC and up to 10 mm in aluminium, so film and cavity are chosen together. Your own capsule sealed in the film is the check that matters; figures and sources are on blister films, and hot, humid markets on blister packaging in hot, humid climates.
How many CFU can a private label probiotic capsule carry?
The listed 18-entry capsule is printed at 10 billion CFU per capsule, each entry between 0.2 and 0.9 billion, and the softgel prints its six cultures between 0.10 × 10⁹ and 0.24 × 10⁹ CFU each. Your own set of cultures and your own count are made to your specification: name the cultures and the CFU per capsule in the enquiry, and our reply confirms what the capsule takes.
The carton states CFU per capsule, and the strain designations can be printed on it next to each culture. Whether the count is guaranteed at manufacture or to the end of shelf life, any overage, the counting method and the stability data are confirmed in our reply, with the specification and the sample.
Can I print the word "probiotic" on the carton?
That depends on the country of sale. The authority of each market decides how a live-culture product may be named and described, and in some markets such a product can fall under medicine rules depending on how it is presented. Your importer confirms the status, and the carton is laid out to that rule; see supplement or medicine in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and South Africa.
Name the market in the enquiry, and the wording is settled before artwork is approved. The importer files registration in the country of sale with our documents; see export documents.
Can I get a probiotic powder in sachets?
Yes: a powder goes into sachets of one serving each, printed for your brand, from 300 kg counted by weight, with production from 4 weeks. The sachet count follows from your serving: 300,000 g divided by the serving in grams, before filling losses. At a 10 g serving that is 30,000 sachets.

What is the minimum order for white label probiotics, and how long does it take?
Blisters: from 2,000 cartons printed for your brand and at least 4,000 blisters, 6 to 10 weeks of production, on a listed formula or your own. A repeat order has the same minimum as the first; shipping is added.

What documents come with each batch, and can the carton be Arabic, French or halal?
Every batch carries a Certificate of Analysis and a specification, and the carton shows batch number, production date and expiry date. Shelf life is 24 months as standard; for a formula with live cultures the figure is confirmed in our reply. Certificate of Free Sale, Certificate of Manufacture, apostille and consular legalisation are arranged when a market asks.

How do I get a sample of a private label probiotic?
Send your shortlisted formulas, the form, the quantity and the country of sale. A ready-made formula comes as a sample of the existing product before you order, and we reply within 24 hours, Monday to Friday. The order then runs through artwork approval, production, sealing on the Uhlmann B 1240, cartoning on the IMA IC 150, and delivery EXW by default, FCA or DAP on request.
