Two strengths are printed on the examples, 50 mg and 150 mg per capsule, which is a threefold step between them. Name the strength you want in the enquiry, and our reply says whether it is a listed strength or one of your own.

A strength of your own is a formula developed for you: the enquiry names the amount, our reply confirms it, and a sample is made first. Yes. A hyaluronic acid capsule goes into a blister. Tooling is in place for three capsule sizes on the Uhlmann B 1240: size 0 long, 0 and 00. Capsules are gelatine or vegan HPMC.

Which blister film suits hyaluronic acid capsules?

PVC, PVC/PVDC and cold-formed aluminium (alu-alu) are offered, and the film is confirmed in our reply once we have the formula and the capsule size. Moisture uptake of the formula and the depth of the cavity decide the choice.

On the Uhlmann B 1240 the cavity can be up to 24 mm deep in PVC and up to 10 mm in aluminium. PVC/PVDC adds barrier to PVC, and alu-alu is the highest-barrier class of the three. Run a sample of your own product in the film before you commit; the figures and sources are on blister films.

How do I show hyaluronic acid on the label, and which rules apply in my market?

What documents come with each batch of hyaluronic acid capsules?

A Certificate of Analysis and a specification ship with each batch. The carton shows the batch number, production date and expiry date, and shelf life is 24 months as standard. Copies of the site certificates (ISO 22000, GMP and HACCP; FDA registered), with numbers, go to clients on request.
