HYPERPHARM is a private label vitamin D manufacturer with four D3 softgels on the list below, in 1,000, 2,000, 4,000 and 5,000 IU. They are a selection from more than 500 formulas in production, taken from the ready-made products list of the manufacturing group. The names and strengths are given as they stand there; the full composition of any formula is sent on request.

Which vitamin D3 with K2 (D3 + K2) formulas are in production?

Three formulas carry vitamin D3 together with vitamin K: a softgel and a tablet with K2, and a tablet with K1 and K2. The D3 + K2 combination is also made as effervescent tablets in tubes, a separate format: see effervescent tablets.

Tablet, capsule or softgel: which goes into a blister?

The softgels, the capsule and the tablets above all go into blisters; the question is which size fits the tooling. Tooling is in place for six tablet sizes and three capsule sizes, and softgels are sealed on the same Uhlmann B 1240 as tablets and hard capsules.

  • Tablets: six sizes, ovals of 22 × 10, 20 × 9.5 and 16 × 8 mm and rounds of 13, 12 and 11 mm.
  • Hard capsules: three sizes, 0 long (0EL), 0 and 00.
  • Softgels: sealed on the same machine, but the tooling list names no softgel sizes, so send the size with the enquiry.

Most of the vitamin D list is oil in a softgel shell, so for this product the softgel size is the question to settle first. The sample shows the real size of the unit and with it whether the tooling in place takes it. A unit outside the sizes with tooling, or a blister of your own design, starts from 25,000 cartons or 50,000 blisters, on terms agreed per project. Delayed-release tablets and capsules are available on request, described as a property of the form. Details by form: tablets in blisters and capsules in blisters.

How is the dose stated on the label, in IU or micrograms?

The unit is a labelling choice that your market decides, and the two units convert by plain arithmetic: 1 µg of vitamin D equals 40 IU. That gives these pairs for the strengths on the list:

In IUIn µg
400 IU10 µg
1,000 IU25 µg
2,000 IU50 µg
4,000 IU100 µg
5,000 IU125 µg

The list gives vitamin D in IU and vitamin K in micrograms. Whether your carton shows IU, micrograms or both is set at the artwork step, to the rules of the country of sale. The amount per unit, the number of units a day and the amount per day are all printed figures, and they are checked against the composition you approve.

What does the destination market decide?

Dose limits, label units, wording and language all follow the country of sale. This page names no country limits; the authority there sets them, and your importer confirms them before the artwork is approved.

We lay out the label and the carton to the rules your importer gives us, or print your own artwork. The regional pages are the Middle East and Africa; the group already supplies many clients in Africa. Registration of the product in the country of sale is a step for the brand owner.

Can the carton be printed in Arabic or French?

Yes. Both the label and the carton are laid out and printed in the language of the country of sale, to its rules. This page does not promise a separate leaflet in Arabic or French. See Arabic and French packaging for the steps.

If you sell into a hot and humid market, each dose sits sealed in its own cavity and an opened cavity is visible; the page claims no more than that. For what to ask about the film and the foil, read blister packaging for hot and humid climates.

Can I change the strength or the formula?

A different strength or a second nutrient is possible, though the terms may then differ. Name what you want; our reply says whether it counts as a ready-made formula or as one of your own. For your own formula a sample is developed first.

The blister minimum does not depend on the formula type: from 2,000 cartons, at least 4,000 blisters, produced in 6 to 10 weeks, ready-made or your own; for a softgel we confirm in our reply how this applies to your size. In bottles and other stock packaging a ready-made formula starts from 100 units, your own from 500 bottles per product.

What documents come with each batch?

Each batch ships with a Certificate of Analysis and a specification. Shelf life is 24 months as standard, and the carton carries the batch number and expiry date, printed with the carton or applied while the blisters are cartoned.

Site certification: ISO 22000, GMP and HACCP (certified by BM Certification) and FDA registration. The GMP concerned is the food supplements one. Certificate copies with their numbers go to clients on request; see quality and batch documents. Halal certification is arranged for the specific product rather than for the plant as a whole.

How do I order a sample and the full composition?

Your enquiry should name the formulas you have shortlisted; we answer within 24 hours, Monday to Friday. From there the order runs through seven steps:

  1. Enquiry: what you want made (format, ready-made or own formula), how much, and where it will be sold.
  2. Sample: the existing product as a sample if the formula is ready-made; a developed sample if it is your own.
  3. Approval: sample first, then label and carton artwork; nothing is printed before you approve it.
  4. Production: from 2 weeks for ready-made formulas in stock packaging, from 4 weeks for your own, and 6 to 10 weeks for a blister run (for a softgel we confirm this in our reply).
  5. Blister and carton: softgels, capsules and tablets are sealed on the Uhlmann B 1240 and cartoned on the IMA IC 150.
  6. Documents: Certificate of Analysis and specification accompany each batch.
  7. Delivery: by default EXW; FCA or DAP when requested.

No prices are published: you get a quote for your own enquiry. Production time is counted before shipping.

What does your product decide?

Questions buyers ask about private label vitamin D

Do you make private label vitamin D in blisters?

Yes. Softgels, capsules and tablets are sealed in blisters under lidding foil printed for your brand and packed in a printed carton, 1 to 4 blisters to a carton. The size of the unit decides whether it fits the tooling in place.

What is the minimum order for a blister?

The minimum is 2,000 cartons printed for your brand, with at least 4,000 blisters, whether the formula is ready-made or yours. For a softgel we confirm in our reply how this applies to your size. For other kinds of order see minimum order quantity.

How long does production take?

Allow 6 to 10 weeks of production for a blister run; for a softgel we confirm this in our reply. In stock packaging, production starts from 2 weeks for a ready-made formula and from 4 weeks for your own. Shipping is extra; see lead times.

Which D3 softgel strengths are listed?

1,000, 2,000, 4,000 and 5,000 IU of D3. The 2,000 IU softgel is listed with safflower oil and the 4,000 and 5,000 IU softgels with olive oil, and there is also a 2,000 IU softgel with K2. The tables above give each name as listed.

Do you make vitamin D3 with K2?

Yes: a 2,000 IU softgel with K2 75 mcg, a 4,000 IU tablet with K2 100 ug, and a tablet with 400 IU D3, K1 50 mcg and K2 50 mcg.

Can vitamin D softgels go into a blister?

Yes. Softgels are sealed on the same Uhlmann B 1240 as tablets and hard capsules. The tooling list names no softgel sizes, so send the softgel size with the enquiry. We confirm the cavity and the terms of the run for your softgel in our reply.

How do I convert IU to micrograms?

Divide the IU figure by 40. That gives 25 µg for 1,000 IU, 50 µg for 2,000 IU, 100 µg for 4,000 IU and 125 µg for 5,000 IU. Which unit is printed on your carton is set at the artwork step.

Can I order the same formula in bottles instead?

Yes, as bottles or other stock packaging. A ready-made formula begins at 100 units and your own formula at 500 bottles per product, while the blister is ordered separately with its own minimum.

Which dose can I sell in my country?

It depends on the country of sale. Its authority sets the limit, your importer confirms it, and we lay out the carton accordingly. This page lists no country limits.

What documents come with a batch, and can I get a sample?

A Certificate of Analysis and a specification with each batch; copies of the site certificates (ISO 22000, GMP and HACCP certified; FDA registered), with their numbers, on request. A sample of the existing product is available before you order, and it shows the real size of the unit.
